Parameters (H.248/Megaco)

From the Main Menu, tap H.248/Megaco and the Parameters tab.

Local Parameters

 H.248 End Point Name allows to enter the H.248 End Point Name. The

End Point Name should be registered with the end point location (i.e.

IP address) and the phone number present in the Call Agent or Media

Gateway Controller. For example, if the End Point Name is registered

with the abc/1 and abd/1, then you can enter abc and abd in the H.248

End Point Name field. A maximum of 64 characters are allowed.

 H.248 Gateway IP Address/DNS allows to enter the H.248 Gateway IP

Address/DNS name of the Media Gateway Controller or the Call Agent.

The Media Gateway Controller should be configured with the end point

name, end point location, and the end point phone number.

A maximum of 60 characters are allowed.
