Resistive Balance Test
Resistive Balance Test
The Resistive Balance test measures and compares the resistance of each
conductor. This test requires you to short Tip and Ring (T-R) to ground at
the far end (T-R-G short) before proceeding with the test.
Snapshot
The resistive balance Snapshot shows results for Ring, Tip, Loop
resistance, and the pass/fail status for Resistive Balance in
Ω and %.
To access Snapshot page:
1. From the Copper main menu Test Groups, select Multimeter test
.
2. From the Tests menu, select Resistive Balance test to start the test.
By default, the Snapshot page opens.
The current group and the current test which is being measured is
displayed in the status bar, for example Multimeter\Resistive Balance.
