Impulse Scope Test

Setting Test Parameters

The Test Parameters page allows you to set the Impulse Scope test

parameters.

To set the Parameter values:

1. From the Copper main menu Test Groups, tap Impulse test

2. From the Tests menu, tap Impulse Scope test.

3. Tap Edit Parameters button to open the Test Parameters page.

4. Set the parameter values as required.

5. Tap Close to confirm and exit the page.

The page allows you to set the following parameters:

 Trigger Mode is either Single (one-shot/snapshot) or Normal

(continuous/constantly re-triggered). The test (either Single or

Normal) is triggered by the first impulse that reaches the test threshold

(either +- threshold value).

 Noise Filter defines the filter currently enabled. Options are: None,

ISDN-E, HDSL-F, ADSL-G, ADSL, ADSL2+, VDSL, VDSL2-8, VDSL2-12,

VDSL2-17, VDSL2-30.

 Termination Resistance allows you to define the resistance of the

dummy load connected to the line.
