Transmission Portion of Notch
The attenuation data is divided into three regions:
³ transmission left (T
left
)
³ transmission right (T
right
)
³ notch
The transmission portion is the total range of T
left
and T
right
.
The wavelengths that segregate these regions are determined in a function
that will find the nominal attenuation for each of the left and right
shoulders. This is a statistical calculation and can be different for the right
and left shoulders.
